Getting ready

I have a friend arriving from the US. I am very excited to see her. We have known each other for about 18 years but have actually only met in person twice before. We met over the Internet and clicked. She has never been to NZ before. Her husband has shouted her a trip as her birthday wish is to have a coffee with me.

So I am using her arrival as an excuse to buy new house stuff. Like these bedroom light fittings for Patrick's room. His room is fairly girly as he has just switched with Devon so we are doing it up to be more manly. No 13 year old wants to sleep in a girly room.
