Flower Friday - Handkerchief Tree

Would you believe it - less than 24 hours after first hearing of a 'handkerchief tree' (courtesy of Lovelupins ) -  I have discovered one near to where I live!

I went to Lotherton Hall to try out my new tripod - and after photographing the irises in the pond I discovered this beautiful tree covered in huge white flowers. I did wonder if it was a handkerchief tree and confirmed it when I got home!

I was slightly concerned about the garden pests at Lotherton - a giant snail and  caterpillar were on the loose.
