Oriental Poppy

I leapt crawled out of bed this morninf, and drawing back the curtains spotted a splash of red. The oriental popies, which had wandered into my garden from my neighbour's garden, had started to flower.  So I grabbed a couple of shots before hitting the road for the 45 mile journey to my new office.
