My (Semi-)Precious

I've been trying to shoot daily pictures (yesterdays taken but still to be uploaded as I'm writing this) and am starting to get a streak going (almost a week (whoo!)). So, when I didn't get anything today I slipped back into the tried and tested techniques used when I shared a house with Dave: have a look at what is lying around and keep taking pictures of it until you like what you see. 
Today's is some gem-stones laid on the screen of my phone (which explains the fringing). I'll get on an post yesterday's now (which has a bit more of a story behind it).
