Canada Geese feeding time

Early evening at Chislehurst Pond and the geese rushed to eat the few slices of bread that a dad and his child had thrown. There is a notice stating that no food must be placed on the ground as it encourages rats. The geese gobbled up the bread in seconds and its lovely to see children gaining so much pleasure from watching them.

Had a walk through the woods and a lovely meal at Cote Brasserie. Its a very warm evening and the day has been hot and sunny. May it continue
for the long weekend.

The extra is mum goose with her four goslings. The only ones we saw at the pond. There seems to be a shortage of babies this year.
