Sid is not in our good books

In his panic about going through some mud went straight through Molly causing her to get stuck in the mud and knock her front offside leg. Big swelling came up at front of leg so we walked back 2 miles. After a hose and bandage and standing in the swelling is slightly less. She's walking firmly on it but haven't dared trot her up to see if she is lame or not. Will leave that 'til tomorrow. Sid's owner mortified but it's just one of those things. We needn't have done that ride. I needn't have used Molly as a block to stop him going into really deep mud. He ended up in the deep mud anyway and is lucky himself as he appears unscathed.
