Berries, Fruits or Flowers

There is quite the discussion in trying to determine what the strawberry is.
All relative to what stage in the development. 
Somewhere along the way the flowers on these plants gave us these. The very sensitive and sweet Hood Strawberries, named after the local mountain for their unique short-lived and tasty showing.
