Gang Gang Parrots.....
The male with the red head.....the female (all striped grey)having a stretch.....They were completely unperturbed by my presence....and more remarkably by the dogs....who really weren't in the least bit interested...just wanted me to hurry up....which wasn't going to happen.....
These birds are very shy,so I was amazed to get so close...
They were feeding.....You can see the males claw holding a Hakea seed ......
There was a juvenile male on the branch below.....his head turning red....
It was brilliant......Lucky......
