Appalling behaviour!

As most of you know, we have been away for almost a month but now we’re home.

Haven’t a clue why…………….. but my behaviour has been absolutely appalling today.  Ann thinks that now I’m back on my own territory I’m trying to re-establish myself as ‘top dog’ in town???

First thing this morning I did my normal little trek around town.  Ann stopped to talk to a neighbour and as I wasn’t on my lead I thought I’d just wander into their house for a little look around.  Ann was really angry with me.  She said, ‘Molly, come here right now & stop being so naughty.’  But I didn’t; so she had to drag me out by my collar.  The neighbour didn’t think I was being naughty.  She just thought I was exploring.  But I got put on my lead after that.

Then I spotted a jogger jogging towards us.  Sometimes I like to chase joggers to see if I can run faster than them, but because I was on my lead I just jumped at him as he passed by.  Fortunately Ann anticipated what was about to happen and pulled me away.

Unfortunately I didn’t manage to push him over. That would have been fun.

Next a bus came along the road.  Well as you all know……….. I HATE buses so I pulled on my lead and did my most ferocious barking.  Everyone on the bus was looking at me and laughing but I didn’t care.

However by then Ann was really fed up and I was only half way through my morning walk.  She said, ‘Molly, if you do one more naughty thing I’m going to have a big rant on BLIP and tell everyone just how naughty you’re being today.’  So I thought that as all you lovely Blippers were going to hear about my day, I might as well do some more naughty things?!!

I ‘evil-eyed’ another dog but Ann steered me away from him before I had a chance to snarl at him.

I went ballistic at a skateboarder.  And I mean ballistic?!!  I was pulling on my lead and barking and was in proper, serious, killer collie mode.

Then I had to ‘wait’ outside the newsagents.  I waited perfectly without being tied up.  It’s a very small shop and Ann gets served right at the door so she can keep an eye on me.  But then……………  Ann dragged me away from the shop really quickly.  And do you know why she did that?.....................  She did that because ‘collie dog Jack’ was hiding behind a wall waiting to go in.  I HATE collie dog Jack and collie dog Jack hates me.  The trouble was that I hadn’t spotted collie dog Jack, but he spotted me and he went mad.  He was pulling on his lead and barking at me so obviously I had to turn round and when I saw him I went mad too.  It took all Ann’s strength to pull me up the road.  Nobody knows why Jack & I hate each other so much.  We just do?!!

On my afternoon walk I was just as bad……………… OK, I was exceptionally well behaved while waiting outside the chemist's shop.  All the old ladies who were outside told Ann what a perfect pooch I'd been.  I saw two more buses which obviously I had to go mad at,  I saw another skateboarder who I tried to kill, I saw a postie who I woofed at…………….  And then I did the naughtiest thing of all……………………..

…………Ann popped into 'St Ives Holidays' and had a little chat with the girls on reception. While she was doing that,  Bev & Charlotte took me into their office.  Sometimes they feed me biscuits but Ann told them not to give me any today because I was getting too fat.  I’m not fat, just cuddly!  I LOVE Bev & Charlotte. Do you know what they let me do?....................  They let me go into Bev’s bag, take out a packet of vegetarian sausages and gobble them all up.  So when Ann came back and asked if I’d had any biscuits they said ‘no’.  Vegetarian sausages are almost as tasty as real sausages!

Ann went very a bit mad.  She said, ‘Molly, I’ve brought you up proper.   Why are you behaving like a collie who wants to appear on the 'Jeremy Kyle' Show???

So what do you think Blippers????  Do you think my behaviour has been appalling today or do you just think I’m just a gorgeous little collie dog asserting her authority now I’m back on my own territory???
