It's a thingumygig beetle

Gorgeous day here.

Osteopath this morning and no need to return, which is good news.  The bad news is that I've been helping frame pictures for exhibiting this afternoon and my back's a bit sore.  I can feel a hot bath coming on.

Every year I learn all about insects, butterflies and other creepy crawlies and come another year I have to start all over again.

This is a beetle and it's green, which will do for starters.
