Light work

A blip opportunity can appear through the bedroom window. This chap turned up with official van equipped with the cherry-picker, to attend to the tall lamp post. He drilled a hole in the side of the lamp post and inserted a wire, eventually fixing a small bit of equipment.

I guess it's a light sensor to switch on the lamp as needed rather than at a fixed time.
