Bishop's Palace, Wells

We took Sophie over to Wells this morning to see the swans with the 7 cygnets they've raised this year. She had fun feeding the ducks and playing in the park before we repaired to the Palace cafe for refreshment.

This shot was taken looking through an archway into the gardens; we thought we'd leave actually going into the gardens for another time when we're by ourselves. It's one of those local places we've always meant to go in but never have, despite living here for nearly 37 years!
