Speedwell

This plant is known as 'Speedwell'', or 'Veronica Tissington'.

Those of you familiar with the novel Watership Down, will know that Speedwell  is the name of one of the Rabbits in the book; so that is my arguably tenuous link to Flower Friday's theme of animals.

These have appeared in the flower beds in front of our house, and I think they have self seeded. They are rather delicate and attractive.
