Dinner at The Roseleaf
Leith is hooching with good places to eat. We have been to The Roseleaf several times before, and it never disappoints, but tonight the food was particularly good. If you want high quality, inexpensive food in a quirky pub setting (you can ask to wear one of the many hats above on the walls and drink cocktails from teapots), then this is the place to go.
I had a starter (above) of salmon marinated in beetroot and gin, which was sublime, and a 'Thai-dy' chicken salad with mango (extra). My husband had a delicious scotch egg in haggis and seafood linguine
