Celebration

Still on holiday, although home.

Isn't everything green here ! And hasn't it all grown in 10 days !

We had an anniversary to celebrate today. We had thought Manchester, but decided on something more rural. We had been told about the Church Inn, so decided to give it a try.

It sits in well to do Cheshire (en route we passed Range Rover, McClaren and Bentley showrooms).

Verdict - absolutely excellent.

The young lady who served us was very proud of the fact that the Inn has just won the accolade of best pub and bar in the UK, with Jay Rainer giving out the gongs at an awards ceremony in London. News to us - we just wanted a nice meal in pleasant surroundings. But good to hear it is doing so well.
