Bascule

A combination of possibly ambitious planning, complicated unforeseen delays and me being out of practice with travelling meant I missed the Kingston bridge Window and caught 

1.  The usual delay over the bridge in towards Glasgow
2.  The usual deal going East out of Glasgow
3. An unusual delay getting into Edinburgh.  

The only positive point is that it is grim, wintry soggy weather, and not an allotment night anyway.
