reflecting

Day 2 of the UCU strike (see extra). I reckon it was colder today than yesterday even though I had an extra layer. It is nice to see some support although to some extend we are winging at a high level. Had some very interesting conversations about the EU referendum, socialism and met another colleague from my school I hadn't talked to before. So all quite good. Afterwards I nipped into the museum to see if anything is new. In the main hall are two very good new exhibitions: one on stone-age jade from the Alps and one on early telescopes. I am really looking forward to seeing the new galleries now.
