Beaten by Tim at racket ball last night. First time this year but I'm not disappointed. On the contrary, earlier in the year, the games were a bit stale but he has shed 20 pounds and found his racket ball mojo. I'd rather lose a great game than win a crap one. Long may his new found motivation last.

Tim's new found energy is not limited to the racket ball court either. He did some tidying in the house last week and discovered a sofa in the lounge that hasn't been seen for at least 2 years. Rumour has it that he might even be able to entertain guests later in the year - that's an event that has been more than 10 years in the making. I can hardly wait.
