Let's have dinner and talk about death

Went and heard Michael Hebb (from Seattle) give an excellent talk about the organisation he founded where people host dinner parties with the specific aim to encourage people to talk about end of life care and death: their wishes, their hopes, their fears.

There is a website: www.deathoverdinner.org.au which helps facilitate the organisation of such a dinner.

I was so engrossed in the talk that I forgot to take a photo of him for blip!  So had to settle for second best - a photo of the website.

Only the other week I had been listening to an episode of Nomad Podcast about Death Cafes which has the same concept.

It's good to hear that this taboo may finally be breaking down.
