A lucky spot

Alas ! from yesterday. today I was trying to prevent a flowerbed from being overrun with weeds after work and catch up on exercising . Therefore no walks occurred today, unless you count from the parking lot to the office. We spent some pleasant time on the porch after dinner . It's finally warm enough (from 45-50 to 80 degrees in one fell swoop as they say).Then we plotted part of the course for the upcoming vacation :the important stuff like can we get a birdwatching day trip in the Cairngorms  and which distilleries to visit. BTW the bird is an ovenbird: often heard , easier to see than a thrush but still not an easy one to find usually.
