It was the camera club's AGM this evening.
What a farce!
The Chairperson who was standing down had a rant about there not being enough structure and control within the committee (it was fine when I was there!) and wasn't happy at having to admit that it was her job to hold it all together. she then spent the whole evening taking things completely off AGM business and interrupting anyone who had the floor.
The minutes that were presented and adopted were for May last year when there was a problem with procedures (which she brought up) and it was actually an EGM in October when procedings were completed. It was also last years accounts (which had already been ratified and adopted) that were presented along with a bank balance for what is in the bank account now.

I was going to walk out but thought I would stay to see what the punchline to the joke turned out to be.
I didn't point out the complete cock-ups because I couldn't stand to go through all that crap again.
But I did congratulate the new Chairman on his passing the winning post to the mental institute - at least he knows what is coming as he has been on the committee previously and head to suffer the ex-chair who is now just an ordinary member on it.
