Hawthorn Blossom

Waved our daughter off early this morning and settled down to a lazy day.
Heavy showers of rain, then a cloudy day. Noticed that the small hawthorn bush in the front garden has decided to flower. It was self-sown but provides welcome hiding space for the small birds when the birds of prey are prowling.
