Two Moors Way

Today I was with the walking group on stage 4 of the Two Moors Way.  We were walking from Holne to Dunstone Down and it was an especially scenic route.  We started in the small green village of Holne before heading out through woods and along the River Dart to open moorland.

The various woods that we passed were still full of bluebells and a few orchids were also seen.  A kingfisher was spotted on the river and fine panoramic views of various tors were enjoyed.

This view may show Bel Tor, I'm not quite sure and the extra was taken from Dr Blackalls Drive with views to Bench Tor.

We ended the day with refreshments in a local tearoom.  An enjoyable day out.
