Tess's Last Day....

My old girl fell asleep today :( she was a shadow of her former self and knew it was her time. we went our last walk which she hadn't been allowed to do for weeks because it would have been too painful. Double dosed on pain killers so we could take the walk. Tess aka Princess Bitch. Loved to swim but today she didn't even attempt to enter the water:( she was too weak and knew herself she wouldn't cope. We had enough after 30 odd minutes and although she was tripping she wouldn't let me carry her home. We had some tea and a chocolate eclair before making the final journey to the vet. My once fiesty Bitch lay without a fuss and didn't even flinch when they shaved her :( she fell asleep so quickly that it broke my heart. 13 1/2 years i had her in my life and in all that time the stubborn bitch didn't listen to me once,  when the kids came along and had their days of crying Tess would run away round the street to visit my mum :) The babies annoyed her and although she was highly protective she would stay clear of them until they became old enough to be of use to her and could reach the biscuit tin :) PB protected us when addicts broke into our home in the night and she dragged both out the house and left them nearly naked on the front garden until the police rescued them :) we lost her son dopey 18months ago and her pal (my mums snowie) 8 weeks ago but tess really has left a hole in my heart :( Run Free P.B xxxx
