He's done. He's finished. Although his Mrs, Lila (minus her tail as she's moulting too) is still feeding the odd youngster who cries for food, but Larry isn't. He's feeding himself, he gobbled up 6 worms in front of me today then hopped into the cool shadow of the hedge & napped on one leg for 20 minutes as I read my book! I watched him awake, he almost fell off the branch... lost his balance & looked around bewildered... I think he forgot he was off the hook, I think he thought he was going to be told off for napping when he should be feeding the kids! The look on his face, priceless, but it was so quick, I was too slow with the camera! But I think he's looked rather handsome in this shot, he has relaxed somewhat! Feathery xxx's
