Birthday present to myself

For me cars all about getting you from A - B and I have never had any aspirations other than that as far as motors are concerned.. However something got into me this time. Someone I know was selling this vehicle - an old JaguarXJS. Sport. Twenty years old ice blue in colour and pretty well immaculate. It wasn't expensive, in fact the local motor expert reckoned that I had got a bargain. The fact that I will probably get about eighteen mpg doesn't bother me as I drive far less nowadays. It is powerful.( 4L)utterly comfortable and automatic. The best bit is the steering wheel, walnut with a brass Jaguar head in the centre. I suppose the steering wheel would have been cheaper but it makes a nice change to rattling around in the back of a van
