AT THE HAINBACH

In a field on a slope there were four horses. One brown, three white and black and all four had long hair on their legs. They seemed a special kind.
And they were curious about us. They let us caress them too.
A cold day, dark sky in the morning. Happily enough the weather changed a bit after noon.
It took us a while to decide where we would walk, but in the end we drove to Helmarshausen and walked along the Hainbach.
At first there are houses, all with nice gardens, then there are weekend houses, they are smaller but they are really nice too.
It is a place almost hidden, but there is an official path, that goes all the way to Langenthal, I think.
We left the houses behind and followed the brook till we came at the road to the Hasselhof, there we turned and followed the brook at the other side back.
There are fields with all kinds of crops. The rapeseed flowers were almost gone, the seeds still small, but they will grow.
We enjoyed the little sunshine that warmed us. Soon enough it was cold again.
My extra shows two of the black and white horses, standing almost frozen.

My haiku:

Nice to meet you all
Warm noses feel comforting
No we don't eat grass

And the proverb:

Art has no enemy but ignorance.

1599 Jonson, Every Man out of Humour.
