Smiley frog

We have always had a lot of frogs in our garden, but this year there seem to be more than ever. I think they have thrived in the very wet summer we have had.

This week though it is hot, sunny and dry and as I went to fill a watering can from the water butt, I noticed this guy with the contented smile relaxing in the shade under our garden bench.
