Symphony in blue

This was taken in the Yacht basin nearby my parents home. I have always been drawn to reflections, the abstract patterns they make, the textures, lines and splotches of colour. Especially those created by sailboats and their ubiquitous blue dodgers, blue fenders, blue sheets, blue sail covers. 

A lovely day spent sharing the daily routine, walking with each of my parents one by one, family stories of long ago, a dinner out, some future decisions... lovely to be here with them in their home.
