The Packing Shed

We spent a lovely sunny afternoon on Mersea Island for the start of Clare's 30th celebrations. We got a boat over to the Packing Shed for a cream tea and lounge in the sun on the uncomfortable shells.

Despite visiting Mersea countless times over the years, I've never made it over to the shed before, and it was so interesting to hear about it's history. It was the first proper summers day in ages, and was so nice to get the boat (despite it's dubious mooring techniques). It must be so amazing to own a boat and be able to hang out on the water all the time.
