Flying Things

We took advantage of the fine weather and went to RSPB Old Moor today. We saw 45 species of bird, including Avocet, Ringed Plover and my first Terns of the year. I was particularly pleased with myself for spotting a Mediterranean Gull amongst several thousand Black-headed Gulls (see extras). I was disappointed that there weren't many butterflies around, but there were one or two damselflies, such as this blue-tailed one.
