Doors in Oslo #87
I had a meeting in my old neighbourhood and walked through the botanic garden.
Tøyen hovedgård / Tøyen Manor is the oldest timber building in Oslo. It was built in 1679. Today it's one of Oslo University's representation buildings, but it has been a monastery, a manor and later sold to King Frederik VI of Denmark-Norway.
A wing of the building is a popular café - and yepp I have litres of coffee there and kilos of cakes during the years :-)
