Ciutedella Convent Cloister

Beautiful sunny day.

We set off for the 2 mile walk/scooter ride into Ciutedella this morning. It is a coastal walk and the views are stunning. It ends at the Marina, which is full of beautiful yachts.

After brunch we visited the Cathedral, which was destroyed during the Spanish Civil War but has been beautifully restored. I took many photos but am not able to upload them to Flikr. I will do after we get home and you may like to view them if you wish.

Later, we visited the Convent linked to the Cathedral. The garden in the cloister was so warm and peaceful as you probably can see from the photo.

On our way back we stopped at the lovely Cala'n Blanes and had a late lunch on the beach.
