Hop bine

Kent is famous for its hops and has a wonderful hop picking history. Nowadays very few hop farms grow the hops for making beer, and like our hop, use them as decorative features. We got ours from the Shoreham Hop Shop, quite local to us. They were once hop growers. Then diversified into growing flowers for drying, and now they have fields of lavender which they use in countless products. In July they have a lavender festival when I am sure I shall be blipping the beautiful mauve lavender.
