Chips and Fish

A sunny eve in Mumbles

Breeze,
Between my toes,
Waggle as they dangle.
Warm suns soaks shoulder blades.
Sparkling sea, squinting eyes.
Sticky drippy icecream cone,
Cold on the lips,
Smooth on the tongue.
Nibble till the final inch,
Crunch.
It's gone.
And smile,
Time has slowed for a while

A sunny eve in Mumbles.

We also had really good fish and chips before, stuffed my face with chips for about half an hour and there was still what I'd have called a small portion. Some people have a very different idea of 'small'.
