Coleton Fishacre

Visit to this National Trust estate in South Devon. This was the country home of the D'Oyly Carte family, who were hoteliers ( Claridges, Savoy, Berkley) impressarios founded the opera company famous for its Gilbert and Sullivan productions. Built in 1920's the property has outstanding views towards the sea and has 30 acres of gardens and woodlands. Typically scaffolding surrounded the front of the building which can be seen in one of the extras.
