Colton Fishacre

In South Devon, very close to Kingswear. This is a National Trust House, - which once the country home of the D'Oyly Carte family (of the Gilbert & Sullivan fame.) It is an Arts & Crafts house with elegant Art Deco influenced interiors. The house was built in the mid-1920s, and has a luxuriant 30 acre garden.Because of the weather my main photo was taken from one of the coastal viewpoints, through the valley garden. The extras are - taken inside the giant Bamboo, a lovely stream, and garden setting, and one of the gorgeous Japanese Maples. I took many photos, but couldn't post them all - we will have to go back again. 
Well worth a visit if you are ever down this way.
