Waiting for bad news is definitely better done from the comfort of your own home with a cup of tea and a nice mouse to look at.

Sadly my lovely Saab has to be sent off to a gear box specialist. This can only mean more time without a car and more expense. 

I'm lucky to live in London where public transport is good, but if I have to carry large amounts of gear of leave the city it becomes difficult.
