Breakfast

I have been watching these poles for a couple of weeks now.  Rather ugly concrete poles lining my street but I have noticed that the starlings quite like them as nearly every one of them I have seen starlings fly into the convenient hole...sometimes with nest building material.  Finally, I was able to see one of the babies!  

It is amazing how many birds you see flying around with 'treats' in their beaks...a real flurry of activity.  Delightful!
