The Day After

Thank you for your kindness on Sunday's blip. I felt particularly low that day and the sunshine only emphasised the feeling of isolation.

On Monday I had an appointment with one of my new stakeholders in Glasgow and I took advantage of being in the great city to see one of my oldest friends. The Professor and I have been friends for 25 years and we've seen each other through all sorts of things. He was so kind, so lovely and helped me see the temporary state of things. And a big hug helped hugely, too.

After seeing him I was stopped in my tracks by this beautiful woman. We got to talking and her name is Mariah. We decided that we are both beautiful and that we should strut our stuff, so we did.
