1st, 2nd & 3rd Forth Crossing

The monsters were off school today (Victoria Day) so we went out with the dog to South Queensferry for a walk.
We were going to park up at Dalmeny House and walk along the path bordering the beach but the gate was shut!
So we went along to Society and spent a bit of time on the beach failing to throw rocks into the sea before making a grand entrance and walking up the drive (can you see the Squirrel?) to see Hopetoun House ....... or at least the top floor (we weren't going to go over the cattle grid with PD).

We had a quite afternoon - well part of it - when the monsters went off to play with their pals round the corner.

I had to go and collect my lens from the courier's office when we got home.
It has had a complete strip down and a couple of parts replaced ... the rear masking barrel and the rear barrel support assembly - whatever they are.
Thank goodness for a 5 year warranty.

Now I am now sitting here watching my phone switching itself off and back on repeatedly for no apparent reason.
