The Welland

The river is looking good at this time of the year.  The water taxi plies its way from the landing stage in the centre of town to the out of town shopping centre.  It is a pleasant ride if you have a bit of time to while away.  I spent the morning at the Bureau.  In fact, Citizens Advice has lost the word 'Bureau' in a corporate image change but I am not sure anyone thought of the cost of rebranding everything for a charitable organisation.  Lots of items and paperwork retain the old logo.  I did wonder about a missing apostrophe in the name but then realised it is not necessary as there is no sense of ownership. In the afternoon, I prepared a loaf, went for a walk in the sunshine and then settled down to sorting an annual tax submission - yawn.
