Off the beaten path

We set out this morning to visit several greenhouses and nurseries. We stopped for breakfast at a small, out of the way restaurant that we hadn't been to for years. Mr M remembered that they used to serve pancakes that are as big around as the plate and sure enough they still do. And the maple syrup is served in these lovely cruets.
