Estrella's Kitchen and Cafe

Travelled to Tagum City today to surprise a friend at her restaurant. I had an accomplice of course to guide me on how to get there. I travelled for 2 hours via a bus and a tricycle. Yup back to tricycles! Im definitely back in the Philippines.

Tutay (4th from right), my accomplice, was already at the venue before I arrived. Walking along the corridor, I already saw Tutay inside. As soon as I entered the restaurant (after getting lost at a different building), Ching (sat beside me) did a double take before shouting my name, "Chimieeeeeeeeeeeeee!!!!". Later on she would describe my sudden appearance as seeing an "apparition".

It was such a happy meeting. Madam Janice (3rd from right) was also there who apparently has just arrived from Manila a day ago. She also planned on surprising Ching's sister, Tata (not in the photo) who had her birthday yesterday. Unfortunately her surprise failed as the birthday girl have already seen her even before she was ready to stage the surprise.

Estrella's Kitchen and Cafe is a very cozy little nook in Tagum City along Osmena Street. I ordered my favourite Spaghetti with Pesto Pasta and it was delish. I would definitely come back there to try some of their very mouth-watering dishes. And i suggest people reading this blog, and who happens to be in Tagum City, to check their place out. They are located at the 3rd floor of Reno Building, Osmena Street, Tagum City. They are open everyday except Mondays from 1030am-230pm, 530pm-10pm.

In today's Extra Photos, also met up with BFF after returning from Tagum late in the afternoon. She was with her aunts and cousins buying souvenirs from Aldevinco Shopping Centre which was just a stone's throw away from where I live.
