Fun times

We had a lovely unexpected visit from my Auntie, Uncle and cousins today. It was great to see them and to catch up briefly.

This afternoon has been lots of laughs, giggles and fun times.

We have had a fabulous time with friends, enjoying a delicious array of foods from the barbecue and some great garden games.

The celebration was for a friends daughters birthday, so there was the classic pass the parcel, which the kiddies thoroughly enjoyed. Then we had a family game of Limbo, which yes, the adults got involved with too. It was so much fun watching the kiddies walk under it while us adults were limbering up. It got so low that the children started to do cartwheels over the bar.

A lovely end to the occasion was general chit-chatting around a table, while the children played together happily.

Good friendships made and long may they continue. A day like today is what memories are made from :)
