Long but Rewarding Day

A 5 O'clock alarm an eighty plus mile drive to the venue, two hours plus out on course, three crewings, the prep to present for final vetting on a warm sunny day! My charges for the day Carol and  her gelding Sam came through and collected their rossett and stamped record card.
After the return run completed and charges and all their gear unloaded it was time for an Indian Takeaway and I am now ready for bed!
