Lea Gardens
This afternoon was our annual visit to Lea Gardens, open for its spectacular display of rhododendrons.
This morning we walked along Cromford Canal and made the most of the warm sunshine. Halfway we sat for lunch in what was like a snowstorm of dandelion seeds floating in the air. The surface of the canal was white over in parts. Along the way we had been told where a nuthatch was nesting in a wall , so another half an hour stop to watch the pair feeding. Lesley still made her 10k steps for the day early on.
In extra is the nuthatch busy at work (I can't believe I haven't made a flight shot the main blip !)
