Limestone scenery again...
...on a short walk to appreciate the Norber Erratics near Clapham, before a birthday barbecue in the sun this afternoon. The Erratics are stone carried from much further north in the last ice age, and dumped as the ice melted. They balance precariously on limestone plinths, which are softer stone and have therefore been eroded away.
The extras - if I can upload them - show the Smith family on top of erratics, Helen still rocking at 60!
