Lochside

Oh my; things were busy at the loch today.  The canoes were busy, lesson being given, the pedal boats were out, the rescue boat was belting up and down keeping an eye on things.

On the bird front, the Canada Geese had chicks, and also the Greylag Geese.  The swans had (I think) five cignets and were proudly swimming up and down showing them off.  Lots of ducks around too.

The sun shone, and the walkers were out in force, some power walking, some strolling. Lots of children with bicycles too, and some scooters.  Only children are allowed to cycle round the loch, adults have to go elsewhere.

It was a grand afternoon, and we strolled along with the rest.
