Whelk Shell

It's just a whelk shell. I converted it to mono in Nik Silver Efex. The strange thing about this shell is where I found it. In the middle of the third fairway at Aston Golf Course. How it got there, I don't know. I have been tempted to put it back where I found it and see if it puzzles someone else as much as it has done me.
